Step 9: Keep an Eating Journal

A journal or a log of everything you eat is a very important step towards your weight loss and not many people actually do it. A simple way to do this would be to write down everything you ate during the day just before going to bed (or whenever you can). Do this everyday. If you weigh yourself at the end of the week and you see that you actually gained a few pounds, you’ll simply refer to your journal and see what might of caused this. On the other hand, if you lost a few pounds, you’ll also know exactly why. Having anything written down on paper is always a good idea. You have the proof right there and you can act on it.
