Step 1: Drink Water Now!

Everyone has different goals and aspirations as to losing weight. Some might need to lose 5-10 pounds to be happy and healthy, while others need to lose much more than that. We’re all different and that’s what makes us unique! Whatever you’re dream weight may be, there are steps to take and small day-to-day behaviors to adopt that can truly make a difference. The trick is to train your body to burn more calories by having a faster metabolism.

Step 1: Drink water, and lots of it!

You’ve read it everywhere and your mother probably told you a thousand times … drink water! It’s the source of life and the key to being healthy. We tend to forget to drink water since it’s coffee in the morning, redbull at lunch, a coke in the afternoon and a few beers or wine a night… right? I mean common! All these beverages are water based, yes, but they’ll actually dehydrate your body and make you more thirsty… Water is what you need. That’s it, that’s all. And you can take that to the bank! Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day… you’ll even feel fuller so you’ll have lighter meals. And if you absolutely NEED you’re coffee in the morning, then drink water at the same time (that’s actually a trick my doctor once told me!).
